Is It Alright To Show Funny Civil War Videos To Middle School Kids?
We are reading “Soldier’s Heart” with my Language Arts kids, a book about the experiences of a Civil War soldier, and to illustrate the battle of Bull Run I wanted to show a funny video I found on YouTube, but my wife insists that it’s very disrespectful to an event in which thousands of people died. Now I’m confused. Would it be ok if I did?

If you want to humour and teach them then you can but if you want them to have respect for those people then you shouldn’t show them the video.
You are playing with fire. do not go there, save it for family and friends only
I think they should know the human’s real (wars & blood), at least a back ground of it!
They have another things that they’ll learn in the next levels…
put the video in the bin, show some respect.
