Buy a book that’s not expensive and hide 30 dollars in there. Don’t tell anyone that money is in there and watch while everyone frantically tries to get rid of this book. It’s so funny.
One year, my husband wrapped up a 3 pack box of tennis balls. No one in the group wanted tennis balls and besides, it looked like a horrible gift. (no one we know even plays tennis). Once the game was over, and everyone was thrilled with their gifts, (except for the person who got stuck with the tennis balls), he showed them that he’d slit a small hole in each of the balls and put 10 dollars in each one. It’s amazing at how money changes everything. They were thrilled and since then, everyone tries and figures out which gift is my husband’s because he always gives money. Gifts are hard to pick out but money is something everyone likes.
