What Is A Good Family Theme Halloween Costume Idea For A Family Of Four?
We are a family of 4 my husband and I and our 2 sons one is 2 and the other 6. I want us to have a theme but I am having trouble coming up with an idea. Kudos to those that provide links that sell the costume ideas that you post!! My boys are typical boys they like almost all cartoons and anything geared toward their ages. Thanks!
I saw an idea several years ago and it has stuck in my mind. It sounds perfect for you. Your family can be legos! Seriously. Think of it-each one is an individual, but they work together. You could even be different colors.
You can make the costumes yourself, easily. The boys would probably think that was fun as well! All you need is cardboard boxes, plastic butter containers (the Country Crock kind) and spray paint.
You cut holes in the box and put the butter container through from the inside of the box, so that it sticks out. Then you paint the whole ensemble. You could use smaller containers for the boys (mini legos) and larger ones for you and your husband.
You can also use rope or something similar-staple it to the box or knot it through holes in the box. That will act as a suspender to keep your costume on.
