Wordpad is the cheap M$ Word, it does not have a spell checker or ability to save in the various formats that Word has.. other accessories can help you out depending on what version of M$ windows you are ruinng.. so me of these are Calculator, the Command Prompt (or getting to a DOS-based prompt to run like Xcopy or the such)
but you can enable/disable through the control panel in the Add/Remove software option/button.
About the Accessories, there are some useful tools that we might need not regularly but once in a while such as Notepad, Wordpad, Calculator and System Tools such as Disk Cleanup, Disk Defragmenter, System Restore.
Wordpad is Notepad with more formatting feature. With Wordpad, you won’t be able to apply a lot of formatting as Word, but enough to make your text document look neat. You might not use Wordpad for a poster, for example, but certainly can use it for resume, homework. While Notepad don’t give you much choice in Bold, Italize (well, you can do it in Notepad, but it will affect the whole document, not just one part), Font color, Font size, Align, etc, Wordpad does give you those formattings.
